Bridgestone’s 4WD tyre offering just keeps getting better, with the entire Bridgestone Dueler M/T 674 range now available in light truck construction. 

Designed with high load capability to meet the hardcore demands of off-road driving, the light truck tyre comes in 12 sizes to suit a variety of vehicles.

Bridgestone’s General Manager Technical Field Services Claudio Sodano said Bridgestone is committed to meeting the needs of the off-road community.

“The release of the Dueler M/T 674 in light truck construction is great news for those looking to use their vehicles in rough conditions,” Mr Sodano said.

Bridgestone has put the Dueler M/T 674 through extensive testing and the tough, aggressive design has provided outstanding traction and grip, time after time.

“Thanks to its revolutionary 3D design, the Dueler M/T 674 also brings significantly improved off-road stability and wear life – two things mud terrain tyres aren’t commonly known to deliver,” Mr Sodano said.

“Our rigorous testing of the tyre in Kalimantan has been supported by positive feedback from customers. Many have commented on its outstanding wear life and ability to get them out of sticky situations.”

Revolutionary technology

Using advanced computer generation and virtual mapping techniques, Bridgestone has developed a proprietary 3D approach to tread design. Employing dynamic curves, contours and channels, the grooves, voids and lugs have been specially engineered to enhance traction, handling and self-cleaning. As a result, the Dueler M/T 674 delivers all-round improved performance, including:

• 3D grooves cut easily and efficiently into the mud;

• Specially designed 3D shoulder lugs enable the tread to grab the ground and then clean the mud off – meaning the tyres are self cleaning;

• A 3D buttress with a step/slope combination reduces tread stiffness variation, promoting improved mud traction; and

• A 3D upper sidewall supports mud traction in heavy conditions.

The Bridgestone Dueler M/T 674 is available in 12 sizes, all with light truck construction, to suit medium and large utilities, as well as large 4X4s and SUVs.
