More Motorcycles Soaring with Bridgestone Battalax
For 13 years, Bridgestone Battlax racing tyes were used in MotoGP – the world’s biggest motorcycle racing series.
And in 2014, with the release of three new sizes of the Battlax Hypersport S20 EVO, Bridgestone signalled its steadfast commitment to middle class motorcycle owners.
Their exclusive design ensures they’re able to perform in a range of different situations – from sport riding, to track days and on winding roads – using technologies developed on the MotoGP racetrack:
- A high grip tread compound, which offsets the low contact pressure common on light to middle weight motorcycles (under 600cc); and
- A smaller bead filler that allows more sidewall compliance, giving the tyres better grip on uneven surfaces and improving cornering stability.
The Battlax Hypersport S20 EVO tyres quickly gained popularity in Japan, and have since taken the world by storm. They are commonly found on 250cc and other light to middle weight motorcycles.
