Upper Coomera Named QLD Franchise of the Year 2015

Bridgestone Select Upper Coomera has been named Franchise of the Year (QLD) at Bridgestone’s annual MasterClass awards.

The award recognises excellence across a number of categories and means the store has been achieving the highest standards in the areas of customer service, safety, compliance, sales, showroom and workshop management and responsible tyre recycling.

Wayne Nowlan, who co-owns Bridgestone Select Upper Coomera with business partner Gary Swift, said the secret to the store’s success was simple.

“A business can’t survive without teamwork,” Wayne said.

“We pride ourselves on our ability to work together really successfully. In everything we do we aim to make our customer’s dealings with us as convenient as possible and ensure the store environment is always comfortable and welcoming.”

“The layout of our workshop if very open so customers can see what’s going on at all times. I think that heightens the trust they have in us and our transparency as a business, which is very important.”

“We’re also very confident in the quality of the products we provide and that certainly makes selling them easier.”

Wayne said the award win would not have been possible without the support of the local community.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the community here in Upper Coomera for their loyalty. It’s great that they are so willing to get behind local businesses,” Wayne said.

He also thanked Bridgestone staff members Mark Carmody, Tristan Briggs and Stephen Roper for their support and guidance.

Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Andrew Moffatt said the store was extremely worthy of the recognition.

Wayne and Gary have owned Bridgestone Select Upper Coomera for two years and recently opened a second store at Harbour Town, Labrador. The celebrations continue there, with Bridgestone Select Harbour Town also recognised for their dedication to best practise at the annual awards.
